He currently serves as the New York wine columnist for Punch, an independent, online magazine in collaboration with Ten Speed Press, where he covers all aspects of the culture of wine. He also writes a basic wine education column for Food & Wine online. In addition to those publications, his work appears in such outlets as Saveur, The Wall Street Journal Magazine, The World of Fine Wine, Bon Appétit, Wine & Spirits Magazine, Beverage Media, Tasting Table, and Wine-Searcher.com, among many others, and has been mentioned in the “What We’re Reading” section of the New York Times Diner‘s Journal.
Having worked with countless organizations, including corporations, charities, cultural centers, and universities, as an educator, he offers lectures and seminars about wine internationally. In 2016, he was named Emerging Wine Writer of the Year at the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards in London.
